New Soccer School Hosts Open House for Elite Student Athletes Grades 6-10 August 21

Competitive student athletes in grades 6 through 10 and their parents can explore PEAC Burlington's new soccer training facilities at an open house August 21.

"It’s truly a unique opportunity for high-level soccer players to enter into a middle or high school educational environment designed specifically for elite athletes," said Phil Ionadi, soccer director of PEAC Burlington.

After two years operating in Burlington and Toronto, PEAC has joined an elite roster of EduKick international soccer academies in Italy, Spain, France, England, Brazil, and Mexico.

"This partnership marks EduKick's first North American soccer boarding school," said Joey Bilotta, vice president of EduKick.

The new academic and athletic facilities rival top academic academies across North America, according to Neil Doctorow, director of PEAC Burlington.

"PEAC's student-athletes could not be better prepared," said Doctorow. "We have classrooms equipped with Smartboards, a wireless environment, Ontario-certified teachers, two indoor turf soccer fields, a fitness centre, a physiotherapy clinic, a spinning room, and a gymnasium."

Students will be training under the supervision of national A license Uruguayan-Canadian technical soccer coach, Rafael Carbajal, in the new soccer program.

"EduKick’s expertise in operating international football schools and international student recruitment, together with PEAC’s expertise in secondary education and training elite athletes, assures that this unique school will be a success," said Ionadi.

PEAC also offers hockey, basketball, baseball and lacrosse sports programs.

Please note that space is very limited for this free event. RSVP immediately if interested in attending by contacting admissions@peac.ca.

We also preview Liverpool hosting Spurs on Monday night as the two sides jostle for respect in the league. 4 – 0 at White Heart Lane, Liverpool are billing this as a revenge match whereas Spurs look...
